The Biostatistics and Research Design Unit provides biostatistical support and quantitative resources for research conducted at King Edward Memorial Hospital and affiliated institutions.
The Unit offers a wide range of statistical services including; study design and conduct
data collection methods
data analysis of completed studies
manuscript preparation
grant proposal preparation
conduct of independent interim analyses for clinical trials
review of grants and manuscripts
presentation of seminars on statistical methods in medical research
The Unit also contributes to the dissemination of study results by performing analyses of completed studies, preparing statistical reports and writing of the statistical sections for research manuscripts when needed. Dr Dorota Doherty
