Part of the Women and Infants Research Foundation’s (WIRF) mission is to promote high quality research and to foster new researchers. One way in which the Foundation seeks to do this is to offer funding through Starter Grants.

The Women and Infants Research Foundation invites applications from new investigators embarking on their research careers. Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded.

The purpose of offering Starter Grants is to support studies leading to successful application for project grants from outside agencies such as NH&MRC.

Preference is given to Grant Applications where at least one member of the research team is integral to the King Edward Memorial Hospital Campus.
