The Women and Infants Research Foundation (WIRF) is active across the entire spectrum of women’s health and reproduction, but at the moment is particularly focussed on the areas of, prevention of preterm birth, care of sick newborns, the establishment of a human milk banks and the management of menopause.

To aid these areas of research WIRF has established research units, special initiatives and grant programmes to foster research excellence.
