The Women and Infants Research Foundation (WIRF) dedicates funds raised to research in the areas of prevention of preterm birth, management of labour, support of human breast milk and the management of menopause.

To aid these areas of research WIRF has established research units, special initiatives and grant programmes to foster research excellence.
